Resistance Training
- Resistance training is the fastest way to shape up and lose body fat.
This toning and conditioning class with weights is or anyone who wants to add strength training to their aerobic workout. Using a bar and a set of weights, the class’s simplicity makes a great Resistance training starting point to develop strength and confidence
- This is a buzzing group fitness class, but you’ll remain at your own exercise station as each track works a different muscle group.
Warm-Up: Shortened versions of the main exercises using light weights to get you in the mood for the workout to come.
Legs, Chest and Back: These large muscles are targeted with heavier weights and used at a range of speeds to both burn calories and tone up.
Triceps, biceps and shoulders: Isolate and target specific muscles with these toning moves using light weights.
Lunges: The weights are optional in this leg-toning area.
Abdominals: Build up your core strength with sit-ups and leg raises.
Cool-down: A final sequence of stretches completes the workout and reduces the risk of muscle soreness or injury
